This
is an epistle written by Jude a servant of Jesus
Christ and the brother of James. This book of the
Bible only has 1 chapter with 25 verses in it. Because
almost this whole epistle is focused on being aware of
false doctrines being taught and on the judgment of
those false teachers in the past and for the future,
it is difficult to know when this epistle was written.
Some scholars say that the probable range was from
66-80 A.D. Within this small epistle there is a theme
for Christians to stay close to the Lord Jesus Christ
and allow Him to be our Lord while being cautious of
false doctrines that come our way. Read this epistle
and may mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you! 1
Peter 1:2. Just as a side note, we find that either
Jude in Jude 1:4-18 copied Peter in 2 Peter 2:1-3:4 or
vice a versa. It is not known for sure who wrote their
book first but there is definitely more scholars who
favor that Peter was the one that was copied.
